Thank you for your application
Your application has been received by IP Pro Bono and will be processed shortly.
A Case Officer will assess your application against the scheme criteria and will decide if you are eligible for support from IP Pro Bono. The Case Officer may need to contact you for further information or to clarify aspects of your application. The Case Officer will aim to decide if you are eligible and communicate this decision to you within the next ten days, though all Case Officers are volunteers and this is not always possible.
The Case Officer will then consider the nature of your case and the expertise that is available from IP Pro Bono's assisting firms. The Case Officer will not provide you with any legal advice. The Case Officer will approach suitable firms offering pro bono services and will endeavour to introduce you to an IP legal professional who is able to advise you in relation to your application.
IP Pro Bono makes no guarantee that the Case Officer will be able to find a legal firm or IP professional prepared to accept your case, as each case will be assessed on its merits.
The case officer will identify what help you are likely to receive from the IP professional you are referred to and how much of your dispute that professional representative or their firm may be able to help you with. Once the Case Officer has found you a professional representative to assist or informed you that IP Pro Bono cannot assist, their role will be finished. If you need further assistance at a later stage and the original professional representative can no longer assist, then you should make a new application for assistance.
Thank you for your application.
